12-24 months

Our nurturing and dynamic program will help your little learner develop the confidence and skills necessary for preschool, while gently separating from you. Your toddler will be encouraged to make new friends, enjoy music, create crafts and holiday celebrations, and sing and dance while enhancing balance and coordination. They will have fun in our play areas, engage in active and imaginative play, cook together, and celebrating Jewish traditions and values. By the end of the year, children will have more confidence to navigate the world of preschool on their own by utilizing the confidence and skills they have developed along the way. This class has a teacher-student ratio of 1:4.

Two Year Olds

Our 2’s classes keep a very small teacher-to-student ratio of 1:5. There are two classrooms with connecting doors which allow for free play between classes. Classes also come together for outdoor play, music, and special occasions. Snack time and circle time are done in smaller groups for more individualized attention. The curriculum is play based, providing opportunities for parallel play, group play, and interactive play, with Reggio-inspired art and project work.  We strive to help our students develop a sense of wonder and enthusiasm for discovery and learning.

Three Year Olds

The curriculum for the 3’s is play-based with structure providing opportunities for: imaginary play, dramatic play, building relationships, self-reliance, and verbal humor. Throughout the year we also encourage motor control to become specialized and focused. Students learn what it means to be a problem solver, a friend, and a member of a community. Teachers validate positive social behaviors and help children use words to work through conflict.

Four Year Olds (Pre-K)

The Pre-K class frequently utilizes a variety of learning stations and provides children with a maximum of social interactive play. Though the program is inherently play-based, there is an emerging literacy component which fosters phonemic awareness. Throughout the year skills are developed to enhance kindergarten preparedness. Our curriculum provides opportunities for cooperative play, expressing individual interests, number activities, gross motor development, as well as significant social and emotional skill building.
