Foundation School offers many opportunities for parent involvement throughout the school year. Parents are a child’s first and most important teachers, and we want to include you in the learning process and encourage you to actively participate in your child’s education. There are so many ways to get involved.

• Participate in preschool field trips

• Volunteer in your child’s classroom at various times throughout the year (ex. help glaze a menorah for Hanukkah or make hamantaschen for Purim)

• Join us for special family programs and activities throughout the year

• Join us as we celebrate Shabbat on Fridays as a special Shabbat guest in the classroom or for our joyful song sessions each Friday at 10am in Zidell Chapel

• Share your interests or talents with the children, such as playing a musical instrument, putting on a puppet show, or doing a special crafts project

• Be a part of our vibrant Parent Committee

• Volunteer to be a room parent in your child’s class and help organize social outings for parents
